The Chinese handset maker, Huawei, launched a new sub-brand called Honor to launch good mid-range smartphones around the world. It has launched some impressive smartphones in the past including Honor 7. Now the handset maker is all set to launch a new device called Huawei Honor V8 in the handset market. From the speculated specifications appearing on the Internet, this new handset appears to be a powerful device in mid-range. Design
The design of the handset has not changed much since the last launch of Huawei Honor 7 as the new device also comes with the same unibody metal chassis. This new handset will also feature the square fingerprint scanner on the rear panel as well as dual camera setup. A good design has always been the strong point of Huawei and Honor V8 is no exception.
Display
The display of this smartphone is quite massive with a 5.7-inch panel dominating the front panel of the handset. Moreover, the display has been bestowed with the Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels for high resolution visual experience. It is expected that the display of the handset would come protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
