LeEco Le 2 Images, Specs, Feature – Le 2, Le Max 2 Phone Launched in India at Rs 11,999 & Rs 22,999
LeEco Le 2, Le Max 2 – LeEco (re-branded LeTV) smartphone company has launched the LeEco Le 2 and Le Max 2 Smartphones in India at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 22,999 respectively and Le Max 2 launched with 6GB RAM. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has given a miss to the Le 2 Pro and launched only the Le 2 and Le Max 2. The Le 2 phone is a successor of Le 1s while Le Max 2 is the successor of Le Max phone which were launched last year.
Before arriving in India these new set of LeEco smartphone were launched in China, on the 20th April in Beijing, China in front of around 9,000 fans and media persons. The company started the event by introducing its new LeTV TVs – LeEco SuperTV X50 and SuperTV X50 Pro, that was followed by their homegrown Le Tea. After which they moved on to the main highlight of the event , the different variants of the LeEco Le 2 mobile phones. While we had been hearing about Apple doing away with the 3.5mm audio port on its new set of iPhones but LeEco has decided to beat its American counterpart in becoming the first smartphone manufacturer to do that. LeEco has dumped the headphone jack for the USB Type-C digital earphones and headphones. One might think that LeEco did this to make the smartphones thinner but this is not the case, the company took the bold step to route all music through the USB Type-C port at the bottom. To improve the quality of audio the company is using a new technology, which they have termed as – CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio). Sadly you will not be able to use your older headphone with the new LeEco Le 2 and its other variants and yes, you will not be able to listen to music while charging the handset.
LeEco Le 2 Spotted on TENAA – Specs, Design Revealed
The LeEco Le 2 mobile phone has now finally been spotted on the Chinese smartphone certification website TENAA with the model number X621. This listing reveals some very important details about the look of the smartphone as well as about the specifications the Le 2 mobile phone will come packed with. As shown in the images above the Le 2 smartphone does not look anything like the images that we earlier encountered. The previous ones were probably concept images as we said. On the front, the handset is shown to sport a bezel-less display without any capacitive touch keys. The rear of the smartphone houses the primary camera module and the fingerprint scanner placed below it. The device comes with a metal unibody design and sporting the new LeEco company logo.
The above images show the LeTV Le 2 to have the power and volume rocker keys placed on the right edge and the SIM card slot will be placed on the left side. Besides the images the TENAA listing also provides some very important details about the LeEco Le 2 specifications and features, the handset is said to feature a large 5.5-inch full HD display on the front having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Inside the metal unibody, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Helio X25 processor that is clocked at 2.3GHz. The processor is reported to be clubbed with 6GB of RAM space and an internal storage space of 32GB. The Le 2 phone will come running the latest Android v6.0 Marshmallow overlaid with LeEco’s own eUI skin.
The LeECo LeTV Le 2 camera department will consist of a 16MP and 8MP camera combination, the rear camera will be supported by a dual tone LED flash. The handset will be fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery and will come supporting 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The Le 2 will also feature an IR Blaster and the mobile phone will be available in the color options of Gold, Silver, and Gray.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced a launch event on the 20th April where it is expected to unveil the LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and the Le Max 2 smartphones. But before that, the senior VP at LeEco has shared an images reportedly clicked using the LeEco Le 2 mobile phone camera. Feng Xing, senior VP at LeEco has shared this image on his official Weibo account teasing the Le 2 camera capabilities. Have a look at the picture below:
Though this is a degraded version of the image and the original resolution of the LeECo Le2 camera sample will be way better but even this images suggests an impressive Le 2 camera performance. The color reproduction looks just right and the focus is on target too. We still cannot come to a conclusion about the Le 2 camera just yet.
LeEco Le 2 Benchmark
The purported LeEco Le 2 is listed with the model number X620 in the GFXBench listing, and the smartphone is said to features a 5.5-inch Full HD display on the front. What comes as a surprise is that the device is shown to be powered by the deca-core MediaTek MT6797T Helio X25 processor, which was reported to be Meizu exclusive a few days back. The handset will also be packed with 6GB of RAM space and a Mali T880 GPU. The LeTV Le 2 mobile phone will offer 32GB of internal storage space and come featuring a 16MP and 8MP camera combination on the rear and front respectively.
LeEco Le Max 2 Pro with 8 GB RAM Specs
The LeEco Le Max 2 Pro is touted to come equipped with 8GB RAM – We are still not sure if we really need a smartphone with 6GB RAM but we are already hearing rumors about a mobile phone with a monstrous 8GB of RAM space. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer that had recently launched the Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones in the Indian market is already working on the Pro version of the Le Max 2. The handset looks like it does not have bezels at all. In the camera department the Le Max 2 houses a 21MP primary camera with the Sony IMX230 sensor on the rear side, which comes with OIS, PDAF and can be called a huge upgrade over its predecessor.
As for the LeEco Le Max 2 Pro price, we can expect it to be priced around 3000 Yuan that if it is launched in India its India price will be set around Rs. 30500.
