The brand has also been in news for speculaations surrounding its Android smartphones now that it has taken its first step in that direction. Nokia E1 is the one smartphone that has been in news for a lot longer. Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming handset.

The design of Nokia 1 happens to be classic E-series from yesteryears as seen in some of the renders doing round on the Internet. It features a metal unibody chassis looks like a cross between Nokia N8 and HTC smartphones. However, we can expect the device to lack removable battery and expandable storage.
Display
The new Nokia E9 has a a fully laminated zero air gap display, which results in improved touch smoothness and sensitivity. It measures 4.95 inches diagonnally and offers a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Needless to say, the display is a treat to eyes as well as smooth to handle.
Performance and Battery Life
As for the performance, this smartphone is equipped with an Intel 64-bit Atom processor that has been clocked at 2.3 GHz for a brilliant performance. The processor of the handset has been paired with 2 GB of RAM for enhanced smoothness and multitasking. This smartphone is powered by a 2700 mAh battery that can easily offer a day's worth of moderate usage.
Camera Technology
Nokia has equipped the latest smartphone from its stable with a powerful 20 Megapixels snapper that is accompanied by a single LED flash. The front panel of the device features a 5 Megapixels snapper to click good selfies.
Connectivity
The new handset is expected to come with support for dual SIM and offers 4G LE as well as 3G for Internet browsing. It also comes with options like Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS, GLONASS and Radio FM.
Verdict
The Nokia E1 is still a distant dream and all specifications available on the Internet are to be taken with a pinch of salt at the moment. However, as and when it comes out, we can expect it to be as sturdy and good looking as Nokia N1.
